Zurich Introduces Legal Cannabis Project
Voor een pilot project Will cannabis be legally sold in Zurich? The three-year pilot study on the legal sale of marijuana began on Tuesday. 1,200 participants can now buy controlled cannabis products.
At the start of the project, marijuana products will be sold in nine pharmacies and six social clubs. The products can be used in private rooms or in clubs. These are run by individuals or associations.

Of the 1,200 people participating in the study, 80% are men. The age group of the participants is between 18 and 80 years. The three-year pilot study aims to investigate how the sale of marijuana products under controlled conditions influences the consumption and health of the participants.
