What does CBD feel like?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of many compounds found in both hemp and marijuana plants that, by itself, does not produce psychoactive effects. CBD is a non-toxic cannabis compound. Cannabidiol has beneficial properties such as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anxiolytic and many more. Because of this, the demand for CBD products has skyrocketed and many people who are new to the world of CBD want to know what it feels like.

How is CBD different from THC?

Before wondering what it feels like to use CBD, it’s important to clear up any doubts you may have about the differences between CBD and THC.

For starters, THC causes a high in users, while CBD does not. Although both are cannabinoids, they interact with the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) differently.

THC is capable of altering the user’s mind because it binds to the CB1 receptors of the ECS found in the brain. What it does is activate these receptors, thereby causing a high that gives rise to its psychoactive properties.

CBD, on the other hand, interacts with CB1 and CB2 receptors in a different way. Instead of binding directly to the receptors, CBD influences them in different ways, but it does not bind to or activate the receptors. For these reasons, taking CBD does not produce a high like THC does.

What does it feel like to use CBD?

It’s time for you to understand what CBD feels like.

Keep in mind that CBD is not like THC, where you feel “high,” but you do feel a sense of calm and relaxation. You may also feel like lying down or taking a nap if you are at your bedside, but you don’t have to worry about whether you want to use CBD during the day because it works as an adaptogen that adapts to what you want or what your body needs.

It is important to remember that people are different and CBD can react differently in different people. Although no cases of adverse effects have been reported, it is important to check with your doctor before using CBD, especially if you have been taking other types of medications, to be on the safe side.
