Medicinal Use of CBD
The first medicinal use of Cannabinoids contained in the Hemp plant that we know of, dates back to approximately 2300 B.C., at which time the Chinese emperor Shen Nung classified Hemp extracts as “Superior Elixirs of Immortality”.
In recent history, Cannabis became an official member of the pharmaceutical repertoire of Europe and America, until its subsequent censorship during the 19th century.

- In gynecology: CBD is a valuable remedy in the treatment of mastitis, dysmenorrhea, menstrual and postpartum pain.
- As an anxiolytic: Oral consumption of Cannabis plant extracts such as CBD and CBN is one of the most common uses of the plant. Both Cannabinoids have been shown to reduce anxiety.
