FTC Judges Examining Similarities Between Stoneos Cannabis Cookies and Oreos

In the United States, many existing food copycats are circulating, but with cannabis as an add-on. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) now want to ban them.

Six companies that make snacks with the active ingredient cannabis must cease immediately. Including Stoneos that mimic Oreo cookies.

Lawsuits have already been filed against companies marketing these products. For example, Skittles sued the company Terphogz, which sold THC candies under the name Zkittlez. There have been countless examples in recent years. These copycats often have enormous appeal to children and young people and often look too much like the “normal” snack variant.
